Author Notes[]
Really intense page. I don’t envy the choice Gavin has to make. Mind you, as the writer, I kinda had to make that choice for him. For the record, I actually had to script it in BOTH directions a few pages just to see which way I liked things better. It wasn’t easy, but I’m satisfied with my choice…
…I mean, Gavin’s choice.
But seriously, if you were in Gavin’s shoes, how would you approach Rain?

So, what are you going to say to her?
Well, after dwelling on it all week long...
...not a frickin' clue.
That'll fly nicely, I'm sure.
Seriously, dude. You're thinking too hard about this.
Just start with "I'm sorry."
I think she wants her old friend back just as much as you do, but you did hurt her feelings pretty bad.
And what about my feelings!? Do I have to shave my legs and strut around in a dress for someone to see I'm not the only one in the wrong here? Our whole friendship was built on a lie because he wouldn't tell me something so important to him!
Honestly, Gavin, I don't blame you at all for being mad. And if you really can't let it slide, then tell her what you just told me.
But if you want her to be your friend again, I think you should be the bigger person and keep accusations to a minimum.
Let this go; it happened years ago.
