Kylie comes in again for the first time since Heather’s theory that Rain just might be physically male back in Chapter 7. And this just makes Rain’s casually stated remark in the last panel all the more shocking to him. Seriously, poor Kylie. Things are just continually making less and less sense to him as the story goes on.
Originally, I was going to include yet another spit take revelation gag (as I did a couple times back in Chapter 6), or at the very least have the soda can shoot right into his face upon hearing Rain’s words. What I did instead was have the pin just break off, trapping the soda within the can forever. I’m not sure if it’s hard to make that out though. Sorry, if it is.
